Job summary

This direct-hire role involves assisting customers, distributors, and sales teams with product selection, sizing, installation, and troubleshooting of motion control systems. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with 1+ year of experience and is eager to transition into a Sales/Application Support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• 1+ year of professional engineering experience.
• Interest in a sales/application support role and openness to transition.
• Ability to interpret technical specs, drawings, and requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including calculations.
• Strong communication skills to explain concepts to various audiences.
• Basic knowledge of automation components (motors, drives, motion control).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on site and pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and application support for electric/automation products.
• Assist customers, distributors, and sales with product selection, sizing, installation, and troubleshooting of motion control products.
• Perform engineering calculations related to motion dynamics, system requirements, and application performance.
• Recommend product solutions based on customer application requirements.
• Provide product training, presentations, and application guidance to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Service to support business objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, product application support, and internal processes.
