Job summary

Second Son Consulting, Inc. in Encino, CA seeks an on-site onboarding IT specialist to ensure new employees have functioning laptops, accounts, and access on day one.

You will deploy Macs, iPhones, and Windows devices, run health checks, and resolve Tier 1 issues following SOPs, while documenting outcomes for quality and billing. Grow with a small, collaborative team focused on long-term client relationships and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with Apple hardware and macOS environments.
• Ability to follow documented SOPs and onboarding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document steps clearly.
• Excellent communication with users at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, permissions, device setup, shipping, retrieval, and secure device recycling
• Prepare and deploy Macs, iPhones, PCs, and other endpoint devices
• Execute scheduled health checks on servers and client environments
• Resolve Tier 1 macOS and Windows support requests by following SOPs
• Document work accurately in our ticketing system with actions and outcomes
• Support remote engineers as on-site technical resource when needed
• Follow documentation while identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Escalate issues as needed and maintain accurate ticket scope
• Learn processes and grow into Tier 2 support role
