AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities nationwide and is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at our Cary, NC community. You will help residents with service requests, perform turns, and handle routine maintenance to ensure a great move-in experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist teammates.
• Complete apartment turns for move-ins.
• With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (i.e. troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances, etc.)
• May provide direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians.
• May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary by team member skillset and community needs.
