Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work on-site at our Cary, NC apartment community. You will use modern maintenance tech to serve residents, turning units and handling service requests to maintain comfort and home-like living.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns to ready units for move-in.
• Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• May train other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
• May assist with vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary by team, community needs, and season.
