Job summary

AIR Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at our apartment community in Tampa, FL. The role involves keeping residents happy with prompt maintenance and assisting the team to ensure move-in readiness and quality service.

You'll troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances, with opportunities to mentor others. A flexible schedule and on-call shifts are required to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in maintenance, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficient in two trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Perform basic apartment turns to ready units for the next resident.
• Carry out resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• May train and mentor other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
• May help manage vendor quality and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
