AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to work on-site at Huntington Gateway Apartments in the Alexandria, VA area. The technician will perform routine maintenance, basic apartment turns, and resident-facing service to ensure move-ins are smooth and residents feel at home.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, proficiency in two trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry), and the ability to work a flexible schedule including

Competenze

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in facilities or building environments.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Mansioni

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns to ready units for new residents.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot/repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• May train other technicians and support vendor quality management.
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections as needed.
• Responsibilities vary by team skillset and community needs.
