Job summary

At CWS Apartment Homes, the Maintenance Technician supports the integrity and safety of our residential communities, handling make-ready units, repairs, and preventive maintenance with a focus on service excellence.

You will respond to service requests, maintain common areas, manage inventory, and collaborate with residents, vendors, and teams to ensure timely, high-quality work and a safe living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 1 year of apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, and CPO certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Able to read service requests and communicate with team, residents, and vendors in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work weekends and during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
