AIR Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Washington, DC, to support our on-site teams at our community near Cathedral Heights. This full-time role offers hands-on maintenance, quick problem solving, and a path to career growth in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities include completing apartment turns, performing resident-requested repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and providing excellent service to residents while following AIR’s

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in two or more trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Reliable transportation for emergency service requests.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns to prepare for the next resident.
• Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• May provide training/direction to other Maintenance Technicians.
• May assist with vendor management and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary based on team needs and community seasonality.
