Job summary

AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities in major markets. Our Maintenance Technicians use industry-leading technology to resolve resident requests swiftly, turning apartments for move-ins and maintaining homes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to teammates.
• Follow AIR’s process for apartment turns to ready units for new residents.
• Complete resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• May provide training to other Maintenance Technicians and support development of technical skills.
• May assist with vendor quality management and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary based on team, community needs, and season.
