Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist in Sunbury, Ohio for full-time, onsite work. The role handles full-cycle AP/AR, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations using QuickBooks Online. Strong detail orientation and Excel skills are required.

You will support month-end close, communicate with vendors and customers, and help maintain accurate financial records while upholding internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor aging reports and proactively address outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and reporting support
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
