Job summary

RGP is seeking an IT Project Coordinator in Alameda, CA to support a multi-billion-dollar biotech client. This onsite role ensures IT initiatives are planned, tracked, and executed across technical and business teams. The 12-month engagement offers full W-2 benefits.

You will coordinate IT projects, maintain artifacts, and facilitate meetings to ensure visibility and accountability. 40–50 USD/hour, five days onsite weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, business, or PM.
• 1+ year IT project coordination or PMO support in a technical environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional writing and presentations.
• Excellent organization to manage multiple priorities and detailed docs.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps or SharePoint.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile; CAPM/PMP/ Scrum training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT projects from planning through implementation and closure.
• Maintain schedules, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and dashboards.
• Facilitate meetings, manage logistics, agendas, notes, and follow-ups.
• Provide project status reports, updates to stakeholders, and presentations.
• Track dependencies, resources, and deliverables across teams, vendors, partners.
• Support readiness and end-user adoption activities, including training coordination.
• Contribute to quality standards and governance checkpoints with Agile/Waterfall/hybrid.
