Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Alameda, CA (Onsite, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) under a contract. You will serve as the primary liaison among project owners, teams, and senior management, driving milestones, budgets, and quality across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes process improvement and data-driven decision support for strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating activities across departments, maintaining reporting standards, and mentoring teams to deliver value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical, or Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven project management experience with PM processes and portfolio coordination.
• Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals industry background is highly preferred.
• PMP certification is a strong plus; ability to define and streamline complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve business processes supporting project management across the division.
• Provide project stewardship and leadership to advance divisional strategy and objectives.
• Coordinate and manage product-related project activities across Quality, Commercial, Logistics, R&D, Operations, and Regulatory.
• Ensure cross-functional teams follow standard reporting to senior management and protect data integrity.
• Formulate and deploy process improvements to support long-term goals and efficiency.
• Deliver timely updates on milestones, resources, risks, and escalations to executives.
• Document standard PM processes, governing frameworks, workflows, and tool usage guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing work environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description:

The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between project owners, project teams, and senior management to ensure transparent, accurate communication of program milestones and critical issues requiring escalation. This role identifies process improvement opportunities, defines and deploys business process solutions, and provides leadership to guarantee management has the data and analysis required for strategic decision-making across the product portfolio. The successful candidate will also serve as Project Owner for designated portfolio projects, managing scope, budget, and quality tradeoffs to maximize business value.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve business processes supporting project management and related sub-processes across the division.
• Provide strong project stewardship and leadership to advance division strategy and organizational business objectives.
• Coordinate and manage product-related project activities across key functional departments, including Quality, Commercial, Logistics, R&D, Operations, and Regulatory.
• Ensure cross-functional teams follow standard reporting processes to senior management, resolving team conflicts and safeguarding project data integrity.
• Formulate and deploy process improvement solutions designed to support long-term divisional goals and operational efficiency.
• Deliver timely business updates covering project milestones, resource requirements, potential risks, and escalation decisions to executive leadership.
• Document standard project management processes, governing frameworks, workflows, and tool utilization guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing work environment that promotes collaboration and cross-functional team effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a Business, Technical, or Engineering discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience); Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in project management, product development, and/or business process implementation.
• Industry background in Medical Devices and/or Pharmaceuticals highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and streamline complex, interdependent business processes.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities with a rigorous attention to detail.
• Process-driven mindset focused on lessons learned, root-cause resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and standard enterprise project management platforms.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus.

Pay Scale: $60/hr - $66/hr on W2
