Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of an on-site housing community. You will manage leasing, maintenance, risk, and adherence to fair housing guidelines under supervision, ensuring smooth operations and strong resident relations. This role emphasizes on-site leadership, accuracy in financial tasks, and collaboration with the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents, accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents/guarantors, and file evictions.
• Maintain property records and assist with end-of-month closes.

Education

Experience with affordable housing programs
