Job summary

Unlimited Logistics, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our onsite Accounting Department in Kansas City, MO. The role supports day-to-day AR activities for our sister company, Keith Connell Inc., including invoicing, data entry, and cash receipt reconciliation.

You will maintain paper and electronic records, respond to customer inquiries, and cross-train in Accounts Payable to provide backup coverage for the accounting team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related accounting functions.
• Proficient in data entry and invoicing.
• Comfortable managing paper files alongside accounting software and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for email and phone interactions.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist in Accounts Payable.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and dependable work ethic.
• Experience in produce, logistics, transportation, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry related to customer invoices and payments
• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Reconcile cash receipts from the prior month
• Respond to customer emails and phone calls regarding payments and account inquiries
• Pull and process cash receipts and update spreadsheets accordingly
• Assist with closing out accounts receivable files
• Maintain accurate and organized paper files and electronic documentation
• Cross-train with Accounts Payable to provide backup coverage as needed
• Perform general filing and record maintenance
