Job summary

ProStaff Workforce Solutions seeks an Accounts Receivable Associate for our Springfield Gardens, NY office. This on-site, full-time role requires 3+ years of AR experience in logistics/transportation and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will invoice, track payments, reconcile accounts, and support monthly closings.

ProStaff emphasizes accuracy, customer relations, and strong Microsoft Office and ERP skills. The position offers hourly pay and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 3+ years in AP or related accounting role, preferably in logistics/transportation.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Create and email invoices to customers from sales orders and contracts.
• Process customer payments and post them to accounts receivable.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor aging and follow up on overdue payments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare AR reports such as aging, cash collections, and summaries.
