MOHR Talent is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Edison, NJ for a hands-on, high-visibility role spanning accounting and risk management across multiple entities. The role requires experience in reconciliations, GL/AP/AR, insurance coordination, and comprehensive reporting.

Qualifications

Hands on accounting experience across multiple entities and operations.
Bank reconciliations, GL accounts, AP/AR, and account analysis.
Strong Excel skills and ability to manage recurring reports.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger and loan accounts across multiple entities.
Review and process AP/AR adjustments, aging reports, and related reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies across balance sheet accounts and intercompany activity.
Support recurring financial and operational reporting, including payroll and inventory schedules.
Request, track, and maintain Certificates of Insurance and related insurance schedules.
Monitor and support automobile and workers' compensation claims through resolution.
Review safety and compliance alerts and help prepare related communications.
Partner closely with leadership across accounting, insurance, and safety functions.
