Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to partner with customers and management teams to provide premier AV support at customer sites in California. You will help ensure smooth event delivery and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include setting up conference spaces, performing preventive maintenance, cleaning equipment, documenting tasks, and training clients on AV technology. Occasional travel to El Segundo and Goleta is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with AV hardware.
• Ability to work after hours and weekends when required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AV hardware and test components.
• Clean AV equipment including lenses, monitors, and fans.
• Document job sites and provide client training on AV tech.
• Provide timely support for meetings and install non-complex components.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams professionally.
• Adhere to local safety standards on site duties.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Travel to multiple job sites as required.
