Job summary

Albizu University is seeking a Virtual Navigator (Grant-Funded) to support online psychology students through the AITLS Distance Education Success Center. You will connect students with academic, financial, technology, and career resources, leveraging AI-enabled tools while providing personalized human assistance.

This remote position involves proactive outreach, case management, and coordination across university offices to promote persistence and degree completion for online learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
• Two years of experience in student services, case management, navigation, or related direct-support roles.
• Experience working with online students or technology-supported environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized virtual navigation and one-stop support to online BS in Psychology students.
• Coach faculty and students on effective use of Canvas as the learning management system.
• Proactively outreach to students based on identified needs and data indicators of potential barriers to academic progress.
• Connect students with academic, administrative, financial, technological, career, and student-support resources.
• Maintain ownership of student cases with follow-up and follow-through.
