Qualifications
- Five years full-time K-12 mathematics teaching in diverse settings.
- Strong math content knowledge and pedagogy across elementary/middle grades.
- Leadership experience in mathematics education.
- Experience mentoring teachers and supporting adult learners.
- California credential in foundational mathematics or single subject math with ELL.
- Familiar with Zoom and Learning Management Systems.
- Commitment to advancing educational equity in mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Support candidates’ development in mathematics teaching across coursework.
- Guide analysis of student work, student thinking, and instructional decisions.
- Coordinate online mentoring via Zoom and LMS platforms.
- Collaborate with USC faculty and staff to improve the program.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and partners.
