The University of Southern California (USC) Rossier School of Education seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Probability, Data Analysis, & Statistics for the MIAA program. This 8-week online course engages elementary and middle school candidates with data interpretation, probability, and statistics aligned to California standards.

The instructor will use Zoom and an LMS to deliver content, guide candidate thinking, assess work, and provide feedback.

Competenze

• A minimum of five years of successful full-time K-12 mathematics teaching experience in diverse school settings.
• Experience in teacher education and/or mathematics leadership roles (TOSA, instructional coach, math specialist, etc.).
• Graduate-level online teaching experience and proficiency with Zoom and a Learning Management System.
• Knowledge of California's adopted P-12 mathematics content standards and related frameworks.

Mansioni

• Provide instruction for an 8-week online course focused on probability, data analysis, and statistics.
• Guide candidates in analyzing student thinking and misconceptions; design responsive instruction.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates, evaluate assignments, and assign grades in the LMS.
• Contribute to program improvement via faculty and advisory board meetings.
