Qualifications

• Minimum five years of full-time K-12 math teaching experience.
• Strong background in mathematics content and pedagogy (fractions, decimals, ratios, rates, proportional relationships).
• Experience in teacher education and/or mathematics leadership in a school or district.
• California Clear Credential in Foundational Mathematics or Single Subject Mathematics with EL Authorization (or equivalent).
• Graduate-level online teaching experience with Zoom and a Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

• Provide online course instruction via Zoom and the LMS.
• Guide candidates in analyzing student thinking and misconceptions; design responsive instruction.
• Evaluate assignments and assign grades in the LMS; provide feedback.
• Participate in faculty and advisory board meetings; contribute to course and program improvement.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and program partners.
