Strayer University, LLC is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for an online undergraduate LPN class starting Q1 2027. Classes run 12-week quarters, typically one evening per week from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The role emphasizes coaching and mentoring, with transcripts required for full consideration. Applicants must have MSN, an active RN license (DC license required on hire), and at least two years of bedside nursing plus online teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing master’s degree required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license; Washington DC license required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years nursing bedside experience.
• Minimum 2 years teaching in nursing online program preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and provide high-quality instruction.
• Enhance curriculum effectiveness with technology and videos.
• Use the online learning platform to enrich student learning experience.
• Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to provide timely feedback.
• Establish high standards and explain evaluation criteria to students.
• Adhere to University policies and procedures.
• Attend faculty meetings and trainings as required.
