Job summary
Strayer University Inc. seeks an adjunct Clinical Faculty member to supervise and educate pre-licensure LPN students in an online nursing program with on-site clinicals at hospital sites.
The role combines direct patient-care supervision with online teaching and evaluation of student performance. Responsibilities include orienting students, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the Clinical Coordinator and Program Director to maintain high-quality clinical experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unencumbered RN license.
- Experience teaching or supervising pre-licensure nursing students in clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct on-site clinical supervision of pre-licensure LPN students at hospital or healthcare facilities.
- Orient students to clinical site policies, procedures, and professional expectations.
- Supervise and evaluate students' clinical skills, critical thinking, documentation, and patient care.
- Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator and Program Director to ensure consistent instruction and regulatory compliance.
