Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper to efficiently gather items for customers' online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality. You will assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup, while maintaining high standards of service and product handling.

Responsibilities include scanning and bagging orders per standards, communicating substitutions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags and locate items.
• Basic math skills for counting and transactions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for on-line orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete selection for on-line orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders and store products in optimal temperature zones.
