Job summary

Kroger is hiring for an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper. You will select and gather products for online orders with a focus on freshness and quality, assemble orders, and process payments and coupons for pickup.

You will communicate substitutions when needed and load orders into customers' cars, aiming to provide a seamless online shopping experience. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety guidelines, and efficiency in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble on-line orders and process coupons and payment.
• Deliver and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Receive orders and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Load orders into customers' cars and ensure order accuracy.
• Process orders through the POS system and handle substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and meet productivity standards.
