Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper to efficiently select and assemble online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality. You will process payments, load orders to customers’ cars for pickup, and maintain a positive customer service experience.

Responsibilities include scanning, bagging, communicating substitutions, and adhering to safety guidelines while supporting the e-Commerce team and ensuring pricing accuracy at pickup.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for on-line orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to cars for pick-up.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow local laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system and assist in training new team members.
