Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper to efficiently assemble online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality. You will process payments, load orders into customers' cars, and provide a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include selecting items, scanning and bagging, and communicating substitutions to customers at pickup. Adhere to safety policies and maintain neat staging areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers’ online orders with focus on freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers’ cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow all laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders, store items in appropriate temperatures, and ensure order accuracy at pickup.
• Process orders through the POS system and handle out-of-stock substitutions.
