Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, focusing on freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival. Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping. In-Store Grocery Shoppers initiate and complete the selection process for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes payments, and delivers orders to customers' cars. They also scan and bag orders, follow bagging standards, and communicate any order substitutions or issues to customers at pick-up.
Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety laws, and storing products in appropriate conditions. The role involves communicating with customers via phone, loading orders into cars, processing transactions, and following policies for substitutions and discrepancies.
The position requires maintaining organization, inspecting equipment, assisting in training new team members, and performing opening and closing procedures. It demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally, act with integrity, follow directions, and support vulnerable populations.
