Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking an eCommerce Order Picker at our Madison, WI location. You will lead the online ordering process, ensure proper picking, packing, and storage, and prepare orders for pickup in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include reviewing customer instructions, handling substitutions, maintaining quality control for perishables, and providing excellent customer service. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexible schedule based on the needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Lead the eCommerce process for online orders, including picking.
• Review customer instructions to match requests and handle substitutions.
• Ensure proper temperature storage for perishables during handling.
• Provide focused and effective customer service.
• Follow PPE, safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Report issues to store management and resolve complaints.
