Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a dedicated team member to manage the eCommerce order process at our Hastings location. You will ensure orders are received, properly packed, and kept at correct temperatures for pickup, while maintaining high customer service standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and about a year of retail experience. You’ll work with flexible hours and support across departments as needed to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the eCommerce process for receiving online orders and picking.
• Review customer comments and special instructions to ensure product matches request.
• Ensure quality control and proper handling of perishables during selection and packing.
• Scan items and confirm order totals for weighed products and substitutions.
• Store orders at proper temperatures (refrigerator/freezer as needed).
• Report customer issues, shorts, overages, or damages to management.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner and provide focused service.
• Follow all safety and guest experience guidelines.
• May assist across departments as needed.
