Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, formerly ClassUp, connects K-12 students with tutors for personalized ESL lessons. As a tutor, you set a flexible schedule and teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives. You will meet students weekly for 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions, build a welcoming learning environment, and communicate professionally with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Must have fast internet and a suitable computer.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update availability in Cosmo App promptly
• Prepare lesson materials suitable for age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students professionally
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
