Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to join Cosmo 1:1 as online tutors for K-12 students in North America. You will provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction, using the Cosmo curriculum, with sessions set at a fixed weekly time.

This independent contractor position offers a flexible schedule, a 50-minute class length, and requires a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience. Availability 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL experience.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare lesson materials suitable for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students professionally
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
