Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, the premiere online learning platform connecting K-12 students with tutors, offers flexible, consistent 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons for North America-based learners. As a tutor you set your schedule and teach using the Cosmo curriculum from a quiet, private space with a reliable internet connection.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching, strong rapport with students, on-time presence, and professional communication with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Fast and reliable internet; Windows or Mac PC with a suitable processor.
• Able to commit to at least 6 months.
• Available 3–10 PM EST, Monday–Friday or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
