Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking caregivers to provide one-to-one behavior intervention services for individuals with behavioral challenges in Santa Rosa, CA. The role includes assisting with daily activities, personal care, and data collection under a Behavior Support Plan.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with individuals with special needs. Flexible PT/FT schedules and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get).
TB test updated in past 90 days (or willing to get).
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
Assist with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
