Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated staff to provide one-to-one behavior intervention services for individuals with behavioral challenges, supporting daily activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, and motor domains.

You will help implement safety plans and track progress according to the Behavior Support Plan while partnering with families and care teams. This role involves assisting with personal care tasks, preparing meals, and supporting transitions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation and related tasks.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
