Qualifications
- Must have experience working with individuals with developmental delays or challenging behaviors.
- Experience in educational or healthcare settings is preferred.
- One year of experience with children/adults with special needs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas, including crisis intervention.
- Assist with personal care activities: bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation, and related tasks.
- Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals per Behavior Support Plan.
