Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Napa, CA is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

You will deliver one-to-one behavioral interventions, support daily program activities across self-help, communication, social, cognitive and motor domains, and collect data per the Behavior Support Plan. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least 1 year working with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Child (or willing to obtain).
• TB test updated within past 90 days (or willing to get).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior, and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing and ambulation.
• Implement and collect data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
