Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College seeks a One Stop Specialist for Admissions and Enrollment to manage day-to-day customer service in the Student Services area. You will lead admissions and enrollment functions, assist with financial aid processes, and coordinate communication with students, staff, and faculty.

The role requires handling diverse inquiries, processing applications in PeopleSoft, and supervising student employees. Regular attendance with some evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Three years of customer service or office experience required.
• Knowledge of admissions, financial aid, and student services preferred.
• Experience with web-based applications (PeopleSoft, Blackboard, portals) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Enrollment Center budget and pro card reconciliation.
• Process new student applications into PeopleSoft for various applicant types.
• Manage documents and transcripts using imaging systems to complete applications.
• Handle daily data queries and data cleanup.
• Provide first-line customer service across multiple channels (email, phone, in person, chat).
• Coordinate communications to prospective students about admissions and enrollment processes.
