Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, student services, business, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Higher education experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage detailed records, interpret policies, and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, student information systems/databases and related tech.
• Travel required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming, student-centered point of contact for Student Services.
• Assist prospective students with admissions applications and overview of Mountwest programs.
• Assist students with FAFSA and financial aid questions; explain next steps.
• Support general forms, paperwork, and routine Student Services needs.
• Act as liaison between Student Services and off-campus program locations.
• Support enrollment and student success efforts for short-term training and workforce programs.
• Connect students with offices and staff for specialized assistance (Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising, Accessibility & Wellness).
• Participate in targeted recruitment events, information sessions, and enrollment initiatives.
