Job summary

Grand Rapids Community College is seeking a diligent One Stop Specialist in Admissions & Enrollment to manage day-to-day customer service for the RJF Hall Student Services area. You will support prospective and current students through admissions, enrollment, and financial aid processes while collaborating with campus departments to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or comparable combination of relevant education and experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in a customer service role or office environment required.
• Experience in higher education roles with demonstrated knowledge of admissions, financial aid, and student services preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with web-based applications; specifically, online learning systems such as Blackboard, portals, ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Enrollment Center budget and pro card reconciliation.
• Process new student applications in PeopleSoft; manage intake and workflow.
• Handle documents like transcripts and test scores using imaging systems.
• Assist with inquiries via email, phone, in person, text, and web chat.
• Coordinate communications to prospective students about admissions and enrollment processes.
