Job summary

Vancouver Public Schools is seeking a Special Program Paraeducator 2 for the Integrated Communication & Sensory Program. This one-on-one role supports students with disabilities and follows IEP goals throughout a 6.5 hour day over 9 months.

Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with lesson delivery, data collection, and implementing behavioral plans while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree (90 quarter/60 semester credits) or 72 quarter / 48 semester credits or ParaPro score 461+.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with individual student goals and IEPs.
• Provide instructional support, data collection, and material preparation.
• Support students with disabilities and manage classroom behavior as directed.
