Job summary

Vancouver Public Schools seeks a Special Program Paraeducator 2 to support a one‑to‑one student at Sacajawea Elementary in Vancouver, WA. This 6.5‑hour/day, 9‑month position is non‑exempt and starts immediately.

The role entails assisting with educational programs, behavior support, data collection, and collaboration with the Special Education team to help the student access instruction and therapies throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Documentation verifying a high school diploma or GED
• Official transcripts or ParaPro results required
• One year of related experience preferred
• Experience as part of an educational team preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Experience with children with disabilities preferred
