Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a dedicated staff member to support students identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities. The role focuses on one-on-one support, supervision during transitions, and modeling intervention strategies.

You will work with the lead teacher and the team to ensure safety and success. Assignment runs Monday-Thursday 11:00-5:30, Friday 8:00-4:30, starting 2026-2027; wage is $22.60 per hour with medical and dental benefits eligibility for

Qualifications

Experience working with children with special needs or behavior challenges is preferred.
Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students.
Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member.
Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Provide support by working one-on-one with a student identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities.
Assist student with supervision during transitions, large and small group activities, and unstructured play.
Model appropriate intervention strategies.
Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure safety and success of all children.
