Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking an afternoon paraeducator to support a student with participation in daily activities at multiple elementary schools in the district. Shifts run from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at most sites, with some 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Excelsior and Deephaven, and occasional 6:30–8:30 AM morning slots.

The position begins August 24, 2026 and runs through June 8, 2027, for the 2026-27 school year calendar, with a wage of $22.60 per hour plus a 0.60 split-shift differential for

Responsibilities

• Model appropriate intervention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff in the team to ensure the safety and success of all children.

Monday - Friday

Position begins August 24th 2026 through June 8th, 2027 (2026-27 School Year Calendar)

Openings at Groveland, Clear Springs, Scenic Heights, and Minnewashta Elementary Schools – shifts from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Openings at Excelsior and Deephaven Elementary Schools – shifts from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Morning shifts (6:30–8:30 AM) may be available.

Wages and Benefits

$22.60 (additional $0.60 split shift differential for those working a morning and afternoon split shift)
