Job summary

Lighthouse ABA is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician for part-time, in-home ABA therapy in New York City. Work under the supervision of a BCBA to help children with autism develop key communication and social skills.

Responsibilities include one-on-one sessions, data collection, and collaboration with families. Evening and weekend hours may be required to accommodate client schedules, with training and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children as per individualized treatment plans.
• Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive setting.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Collect data, track progress, and maintain accurate session notes.
