Job summary

Lighthouse ABA in New York City is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in-home settings under BCBA supervision. Part-time role with flexible evenings and weekends to fit family schedules.

You will collect data, follow individualized treatment plans, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and communicate progress to families. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in ABA therapy preferred but not required.
• Passion for helping children with autism and families.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Collect data, track progress, and ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adapt plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and home strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
