Job summary

Lighthouse CH in New York City seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under supervision of a BCBA. You will implement interventions, collect data, and help families apply skills at home.

You will collaborate with therapists and caregivers to support progress, adapt plans, and document sessions, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship and promote client independence.
• Collect data, track progress, and document therapy sessions accurately.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate progress and strategies with parents/caregivers.
