Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks an IIRC Data Coordinator III to support oncology clinical trials. You will collect, abstract, and code complex data from medical records and research charts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will work with Epic/EMR and iMedidata Rave/EDC systems, coordinate SAE follow-ups, and interact with investigators and study staff in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS, or two-year degree in the medical field, plus experience in medical records or cancer registry.
• Three years of experience in medical records, cancer registry, or related field.
• Strong computer skills and data entry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect, abstract, and code complex clinical data from multiple sources for research subjects.
• Code and record data into study-specific electronic data-capture systems.
• Extract Adverse Events from the EHR and review with PIs.
• Coordinate SAE follow-up in the database; resolve data queries with minimal errors.
• Track research patient schedules and ensure protocol-specific assessments are planned.
