Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to manage day-to-day operations of interventional and observational cancer studies. You will screen and enroll participants, coordinate visits, collect data, and ensure compliance with regulations and study protocols.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support trial logistics, documentation, and budgeting processes while maintaining quality research records and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a clinical research or cancer registry environment with regulatory/human research protections.
• Knowledge of clinical trials records, procedures and computerized data processing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize study conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily clinical operations of assigned research studies per protocols and GCP.
• Develop and maintain study tools and reference materials for implementation.
• Provide study-specific education and training to staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate patient enrollment by reviewing medical records for eligibility and obtaining informed consent.
• Schedule patient visits and ensure protocol compliance across procedures and samples.
• Maintain source documentation and perform case report form data entry.
• Travel between campuses to oversee specimen transit and processing as needed.
• Prepare monitoring visits and respond to queries from monitors.
• Stay current with clinical research regulations and best practices.
