Job summary

IHA in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Oncology Triage Nurse to support Radiation and Medical Oncology through telephone and electronic triage. You will respond to patient calls, symptom concerns, and treatment questions, coordinating care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely guidance.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan is required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and electronic inquiries in a timely, compassionate manner.
• Triages concerns, prioritizes based on urgency, and coordinates care with the team.
• Identify situations needing provider consultation or escalation.
• Promote patient safety and ensure continuity of care across oncology services.
